She rose to fame as a member of the group Poplyfe before branching out into her own solo career. Kehlani released her first mixtape in 2014, titled ‘Cloud 19.’ She released her second mixtape in 2015, entitled ‘You Should Be Here.’ Kehlani has earned two Grammy nominations in her burgeoning career. The first nomination was for Best Urban Contemporary Album for ‘You Should Be Here.’ Her second nomination was for Best R&B Performance for her 2017 hit ‘Distraction.’ Along with her music, Kehlani is also becoming a major fixation in the fashion industry and has already shown her flair for style at a number of major events.
