Katie Couric is a veteran American journalist and media personality whose career has spanned more than four decades. She first gained national prominence as co-host of NBC’s Today in the early 1990s and later served as anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News while also contributing to 60 Minutes. Couric has interviewed presidents, world leaders, and cultural figures throughout her career, and she continues to influence journalism through her production company, Katie Couric Media.

Beyond network news, Couric expanded her work into digital media and podcasts, hosting Next Question with Katie Couric and producing a range of digital series and documentary projects. She also released her memoir Going There, offering personal reflections on her life and career.

In her personal life, Couric has been open about health and family experiences. In September 2022, she revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has since spoken about her treatment and recovery. She has two children and continues to be active in public discussions about health, media, and civic issues.
