Kathy’s five-decade career spans across comedic and dramatic films and television programs, she has earned an Academy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to nominations for a Tony Award and two British Academy Film Awards. (Just waiting on that Grammy!)

After a respected career on stage, Kathy had her breakthrough with the 1990 psychological drama ‘Misery’, for which she won an Oscar. Other major roles include ‘Fried Green Tomatoes’ (1991) ‘Dolores Claiborne’ (1995), ‘The Waterboy’ (1998), ‘Titanic’ (1997), ‘Primary Colors’ (1998), ‘About Schmidt’ (2002), and ‘Richard Jewell’ (2019).

Her television earned an Emmy for a guest appearance on ‘Two And As Half Men’ and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her portrayal of Delphine LaLaurie on the third season of ‘American Horror Story’ (2013).
