Katharine McPhee: Photos — Katharine McPhee rose to fame with ‘American Idol’, but has since accomplished much more as a solo artist. The Los Angeles-hailing songstress, who was born March 25, 1984, has starred in several movies and headlined the short-lived NBC musical-drama Smash. She has five studio albums under her belt. Katharine married Nick Cokas in 2008, but the couple split after she was caught kissing her Smash director, Michael Morris. In 2018, Katharine made her Broadway debut in the production of Waitress. That same year, she announced her engagement to Canadian musician David Foster in July of 2018. They were married in Jun. 2019 in London and in Feb. 2021 they welcomed a son, named Remy.
