Joy Bryant is an actress who is currently starring as Marie in the ABC legal drama ‘For Life.’ She stars alongside Nicholas Pinnock, Indira Varma, Mary Stuart Masterson, Tyla Harris, and more. The series, which is executive produced by 50 Cent and based on the real-life story of Isaac Wright Jr., follows an imprisoned man named Aaron Wallace, who becomes a lawyer and starts litigating cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. Before ‘For Life,’ Joy was best known for playing Jasmine in the NBC series ‘Parenthood.’ She also had notable roles in ‘Ballers’ and ‘Trinkets.’ ‘For Life’ isn’t the project that Joy has worked with 50 Cent on.
