Joshua Rush is an American actor and best known for his role as Cyrus Goodman in Disney’s Andi Mack. In the show’s second season, Joshua’s character came out as gay to the title character, marking the first openly gay main character on Disney Channel. Since 2016, Joshua has also voiced Bunga on the Disney Junior television series The Lion Guard. Most recently, he has landed the lead role in UniversalKids’ Where’s Waldo? Aside from his acting career, Joshua is incredibly involved and passionate about politics.
He is currently interning on Capitol Hill for a Democratic Congressperson, and will start the college application process in the fall for a political science or foreign service degree.
