Joel is a comedian, actor and writer who was born in South Korea. His career started with stand-up comedy performances in New York. He got his own special on Comedy Central in 2017 and then started acting in some TV shows. He appeared in ‘Shrill’ on Hulu, ‘Sunnyside’ on NBC, and ‘The Week Of’ on Netflix. Joel wrote and starred in the romantic comedy film ‘Fire Island,’ which featured an all-gay cast. He currently stars on ‘Loot’ as an assistant at a charity foundation.
