Jimmy Kimmel is best known as a talk show host. See pics of him here in honor of his birthday.
From The Man Show to being one of the most highly-regarded names in late night. Jimmy Kimmel got his start in radio, hosting a Sunday night interview show on UNLV’s college station. From there, he worked at a variety of stations, including KROQ-FM in Los Angeles. While working as ‘Jimmy the Sports Guy’ for the ‘Kevin and Bean’ morning show, he befriended comedian Adam Corolla. From there, Jimmy landed a spot on the Comedy Central game show ‘Win Ben Stein’s Money’. During that period, Jimmy and Adam co-hosted The Man Show. Jimmy left the show in 2003 to host his own late-night talk show, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’. Jimmy began to develop his voice as a late-night host. This new tone would land him gigs hosting the 2007 ESPY Awards, the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 (and the 68th in 2016) as well as the Oscars in both 2017 and 2018.
