J. August Richards — J. August Richards, born Aug. 28, 2973, is an American TV actor who rose to fame in the early 2000s. Following a number of small roles and appearances on various TV shows like ‘The West Wing,’ J. August earned the role of Charles Gunn in the ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ spin-off series, ‘Angel.’ J. August was a part of the core cast for over 90 episodes and appeared in the series from 2000-2004. Following his time on ‘Angel,’ J. August’s biggest TV project would come in 2013 when he played Mike Peterson/Deathlok on the ABC series ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ J. August appeared on the show for roughly 12 episodes before his exit in 2018. In 2020, J. August earned the role of Dr. Oliver Post in the NBC series ‘Council Of Dads.’ Here, J.
