The historic day, which saw the official end of Trump’s administration, was celebrated by not only Biden and Harris’ families, but by all Americans ready to celebrate hope. The remarkable day welcomes the first woman, first African and first Asian American to hold the office of Vice President. It also was a joyous day for Joe Biden, who after several decades of service, finally took his seat as the President of the United States.

In these photos, we highlight some of the beautiful outfits worn by the new Vice President, former first ladies, and loved ones of the presidential families. Many made bold statements with their outfits, choosing new and up-and-coming designers to highlight the diversity and creativity of this great nation.
