The countdown to Santa’s big day kicks off on Monday, December 20, and some of the biggest stars are doing some last-minute prep work before the climax of the holiday season. Some are putting together some final decorations, while others are excited to finally throw a (safe) holiday party. For Michael B. Jordan, he got into the REAL spirit of the season: basketball! The ‘Black Panther’ star teamed with Turner Sports, Invesco QQQ, and WME Sports (the sports division of WME, an Endeavor Company, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) and Scout Sports and Entertainment, a division of Horizon Media, to present the newly named Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic. Previously dubbed the Hoops Dream Classic, it was a basketball tournament featuring teams from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Serena Williams was one of the many celebrities in attendance, helping to support Black excellence ahead of the Christmas celebration.
