Whenever Halloween rolls around, we know we can count on Heidi Klum to deliver. But she’s not just the reigning Hallo-queen; the model proved that she can literally wear multiple hats for different high-profile events, including the Met Gala. For this year’s Costume Institute fundraiser, Heidi recreated the Veiled Vestal, an 1847 sculpture by Raffaelle Monti.
“I was like, I want to become her!” Heidi said in a red carpet interview. “I went walking around in the Met and Raffaele Monti, he’s done most of the sculptures from the 1800s, so I looked and I was like, ‘Wow, this is so beautiful. The drape, and it’s all in marble, but how can you make that with fabric?'”
