Gordon was best known as a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Canada. He sang folk, folk-rock, and country music during his successful career and earned some big hits. Some of them include ‘For Lovin’ Me,’ ‘Early Morning Rain,’ ‘Steel Rail Blues,’ and ‘Ribbon of Darkness.’

Gordon got his start in music in the late 1950s and made a lasting impreesion in the industry. His songs were so influential that many big artists recorded them, including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Barbra Streisand.
