Global Citizen Live 2021 — The Global Citizen Live music festival is back for 2021, featuring a music marathon over 24 hours. Of course, it’s all for a good cause, with celebs like Billie Eilish and Coldplay taking the stage to raise awareness, and fundraise for multiple important causes. This year’s festival is specifically benefitting the hunger crisis, climate needs of developing countries and COVID-19 vaccination distribution.

Even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flew into New York City for the event. The pair are slated to take part in the 24-hour global broadcast from the Great Lawn in Central Park.

In 2021, the event is aiming to work with world leaders in the pursuit of global vaccine equity to end the COVID-19 pandemic for everyone. In a statement, Meghan and Harry added, “The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated health, social, and economic inequality globally.
