Glen Campbell — Country singer Glen Campbell was one of the most influential singer-songwriters of all time. Beginning his career in the early 1960s, Glen recorded 60 albums throughout his over 50 years in the music industry. Some of his biggest hits came in the 1970s, when he recorded classic songs like “Southern Nights” and “Rhinestone Cowboy.” Throughout his life, he won a whopping 10 Grammy Awards, the last of which he received in 2014, when he won the “Best Country Song” award for his track “I’m Not Gonna Miss You.”

Glen also hosted a variety show for CBS from 1969 to 1972, fittingly titled ‘The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.’ He brought some of the biggest musical acts of the time on the show, including Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, Linda Ronstadt, Willie Nelson, and many more.

Unfortunately, Glen passed away in August 2017 at age 81, following a seven-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
