Games People Play — ‘Games People Play’ is a hot new BET drama series based on Angela Burt-Murray’s page-turning book, ‘Games Divas Play.’ The show focuses on power couple Marques and Vanessa King, played by Sarunas J. Jackson and Lauren London. Marques is a top basketball player who can’t resist temptation and ends up cheating on his wife with social media star, Laila James, who’s played by Parker McKenna Posey. The plot thickens as Marques’ best friend Kareem (Jackie Long) – who is blinded by money – betrays him. Let’s not forget Vanessa’s BFF Nia (Karen Obilom) who just happens to be a snooping tabloid journalist. Throw in sex and crime and you have the perfect combination for must-see TV.
