Frank Ocean, born October 28, 1987, is an American singer and songwriter. Before skyrocketing to fame for his own music, Frank wrote songs for the likes of Justin Bieber, John Legend, and Brandy. Eventually he released his own mixtape entitled ‘Nostalgia, Ultra.’ Following the success of the mixtape, Frank released his debut album.
‘Channel Orange’ was released in 2012, and included hits like ‘Forrest Gump,’ ‘Thinkin’ Bout You,’ ‘Sweet Life,’ and more. He won two Grammy Awards for his work, including Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for ‘No Church in the Wild.’
