Edie Falco: Photos Of ‘The Sopranos’ Star — Edie Falco (born July 5, 1963) is an actress, best known for her roles as Carmela Soprano on the HBO series ‘The Sopranos’ (1999–2007). The actress started with parts on crime procedurals like ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Homicide: Life on the Street’, as well as a role in Woody Allen’s ‘Bullets Over Broadway’, before her big break on ‘The Sopranos’. She was also the lead on the Showtime series ‘Nurse Jackie’ (2009–2015) and played a corrections officer in HBO’s prison drama ‘Oz’ (1997–2000). over her career Edie won two Golden Globe awards (from eleven nominations) and four Emmy awards (from fourteen nominations).

Here, she appears as the sassy but loyal matriarch Carmela Soprano in the HBO crime drama ‘The Sopranos’. Looking very mob wife chic, she wore a tiger-striped top and tons of jewelry as she whipped up a green bean salad for the family.
