E. Jean Carroll — E. Jean Carroll was at the center of one of former President Donald Trump‘s latest scandals, when she sued him for defamation and sexual battery for sexually assaulting her in the 90s. Carroll was victorious in her lawsuit against the former president when he was found liable for both defamation and sexual assault, although he was not found liable of rape. The writer was awarded $5 million.

Carroll, seen here arriving at the Manhattan Federal Court for the trial against Trump, is an acclaimed journalist and writer. She was known for decades as the columnist for the ‘Ask E. Jean’ section of ‘Elle’ magazine from 1993 until 2019. She has also authored the book ‘What Do We Need Men For? A Modest Proposal’ in 2019. Carroll had also accused former CBS CEO Les Moonves of sexual assault in 2019.
