Dustin Diamond — Dustin Diamond was an American comedian and actor who was best known for playing Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers on ‘Saved By The Bell’ and its subsequent spinoffs. Dustin portrayed the beloved Screech for 13 years. After ‘Saved By The Bell,’ he began a career as a stand-up comedian and made appearances in several movies. He also appeared on various reality shows, including ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and ‘Celebrity Fit Club.’

Unfortunately, Dustin’s image was marred by troubling legal issues, which began in 2014 when he was arrested for possession of a switchblade knife. He was accused of pulling out the knife during an altercation where a man was stabbed. He was convicted on two misdemeanor charges in May 2015 and served three months in prison. The actor was arrested once again in 2016 for violating his probation.

In Jan. 2021, Dustin confirmed that he had been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer after suffering severe pain throughout his whole body and being hospitalized. He died on Feb. 1, 2021, just three weeks after his diagnosis. Keep scrolling through the gallery to see more photos of Dustin.
