Her most successful roles throughout her career are most probably her roles as Nurse Katie Welch on the Fox series Prison Break and Connie on the NBC series Chicago Fire.
With all its action-packed scenes, near-death episodes, and straight up lit scenarios, there is no doubt that Chicago Fire has become quite the fan-favorite. Brown took on the iconic role of Connie in 2012, in which she portrayed somewhat of a motherly figure throughout her character’s careers, working primarily as the Chief’s assistant at Firehouse 51, and then eventually as a trained counselor. Of course, her time as Connie was nothing but rewarded. She and the rest of the Chicago Fire cast have been recognized for a number of awards, such as Favorite Network TV Drama (People’s Choice Awards 2017 nominee) and Top Television Series ( ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards 2013 winner).
