Few actors have had wide-ranging career quite like Donald Sutherland. Born in Canada, Donald has appeared in over 100 roles throughout his career. He made his debut in the early 60s as a TV actor, but he really hit his stride in the 70s as a film star. He took on roles from serious dramas like ‘Johnny Got His Gun’ to beloved comedies like ‘National Lampoon’s Animal House’ to cult classics like ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers.’ Donald has also starred in critically-acclaimed flicks like ‘Ordinary People’ (1980) and ‘JFK’ (1991). With a career that spans generations, Donald was introduced to younger fans in the 2010s, when he was cast as President Snow in the adored ‘Hunger Games’ series.

Besides being an actor, he’s also a father to five grown-up children. His eldest son Kiefer, plus his two younger sons Angus and Rossif have followed in their dad’s footsteps and become actors. His daughter Rachel and other son Roeg have also entered the entertainment business but behind the camera.
