Dan + Shay — Dan + Shay is a country music duo comprised of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. The guys met in Nashville in 2012 and quickly began writing music together, eventually becoming an official twosome. They released their first song, ’19 You + Me,’ in 2013, followed by their debut album the following year. The guys’ career blew up with the release of the song “Tequila” in Jan. 2018. It was followed by their third album that summer. In Aug. 2021, the guys releasedtheir fourth studio album.

Dan + Shay have collaborated with stars like Justin Bieber and Kelly Clarkson, among others. They’ve won three Grammy awards for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their songs “Speechless,” “Tequila” and “10,000 Hours.” They’ve also gotten wins at the ACM Awards and CMA Awards throughout their career.
