Claire Danes Through The Years: Photos — Claire Danes is an American actress who started her career in the 90s, since earning three Primetime Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. The star, born Apr. 12 1979, rose to prominence playing Angela Chase in the 1994 teen drama series ‘My So-Called Life.’

From there she went on to star in films like ‘Little Women’ (1994), ‘Home for the Holidays’ (1995), ‘Romeo + Juliet’ (1996), ‘The Rainmaker’ (1997), ‘Les Misérables’ (1998), ‘Brokedown Palace’ (1999), ‘The Hours’ (2002), ‘Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines’ (2003), ‘Shopgirl’ (2005), ‘Stardust’ (2007), and ‘A Kid Like Jake’ (2018). She turned back to TV in 2011 with the Showtime series ‘Homeland’, playing troubled CIA agent Carrie Mathison. The role earned her 2 Primetime Emmy Awards.

As for her personal life, Claire has been married to actor Hugh Dancy since 2009. They share 2 children. She is an alumnus of Yale University.
