‘Child’s Play’ is making a comeback in summer 2019. The scariest doll in the world — Chucky — is getting a new movie and a makeover. ‘Star Wars’ legend Mark Hamill will be voicing the iconic doll in the contemporary reimagining of the 1988 classic. ‘Child’s Play’ follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature. Chucky isn’t just a regular doll, he’s a monster. He wreaks havoc wherever he goes and loves to KILL. The movie will be released in theaters on June 21 and also stars Brian Tyree Henry and Tim Matheson. In addition to the exciting and scary reboot, a ‘Child’s Play’ TV series is in the works at Syfy.
