‘Chicago Fire’ Season 8 — ‘Chicago Fire’ is currently in season 8. The show airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC and is part of the network’s Chicago line-up. The show kicked off season 8 with the devastating death of Otis. He succumbed to injuries he suffered in a mattress fire. Brett was also injured but she survived and then moved to Indiana with Chaplain Kyle.
