The thigh-high stocking has become quite the trend around the world, especially in Hollywood. A number of celebrities have been wearing it in the most stylish ways we have seen yet. 

The thigh-high, and knee-high, stocking became popular during the 1960s and 1970s when the miniskirt started to gain even more popularity. The stocking came, and still does come, in many different colors, patterns, and transparency levels. Back then, the trendy garment was normally worn as part of girls’ school uniforms and primarily worn to keep the feet and lower legs warm, but today, it is worn for many other occasions. 

They can be worn with dresses, skirts, trousers, lingerie, and under trendy ripped jeans. And if you are a celebrity, chances are you are wearing thigh-highs with only the most chic, designer ensembles.
