Folklore claims he drove all of the snakes out of Ireland, but there were no snakes there to being with. These days, St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated throughout the U.S. with massive parades, bars serving green colored beer, and people wearing “Kiss me, I’m Irish” t-shirts.
