Celebrities Who Died From Drug Overdoses — We have lost far too many good celebrities over the years. While there have been plenty of positive celeb stories this year, there have also been a number of celebrity deaths, many of which came far too soon. One of the biggest and most recent deaths has been the death of Mac Miller. Mac’s body was found on September 7, 2018. He was found by his personal assistant, who tried to save his life via CPR, but unfortunately could not.

Another death that struck the hearts of millions was the death of Cory Monteith. He died 5 years earlier than Mac, on July 13, 2013. The actor was found dead in a hotel room at the age of 31. He had tragically lost his battle to substance addiction and was found dead due to mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.
