‘Castle Rock’ is a psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse. The series is set in the fictional Maine town of Castle Rock, which has figured prominently in Stephen King’s literary career. ‘Castle Rock’ is an original suspense/thriller and brings together the author’s most iconic and beloved characters. Lizzy Caplan stars as Annie Wilkes. Kathy Bates originally played the role in the 1990 film ‘Misery.’ Kathy’s performance earned her an Oscar. Season 2 also stars Tim Robbins as Reginald “Pop” Merrill, Paul Sparks as John “Ace” Merrill, Elsie Fisher as Joy Wilkes, Yusra Warsama as Dr. Nadia Omar, Barkhad Abdi as Abdi Omar, and Matthew Alan as Chris Merrill. The first season starred André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy, and Sissy Spacek. Each season has consisted of 10 episodes. Season 2 premiered Oct. 23 on Hulu.
