Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Photos — ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ came out 25 years ago, on Mar. 10, 1997 and from their TV was never the same. Class at 8, demons at 2… it seemed there was nothing high school vampire slayer Buffy Sanders, played by Sara Michelle Geller, couldn’t do. The Joss Wheadon-created show was actually a spin-off from a 1992 film starring Kristy Swanson. But it seemed starlet SMG was who really provided the show’s magic as the sharp-tounged, teen namesake of the show. Buffy ran for seven seasons, producing 144 episodes before wrapping up in 2003.
