We’re looking back at just how much Blue Ivy’s grown over the years!

It runs in the family! Blue Ivy Carter came into the world in 2012 and has been in the spotlight since. Blue is music icons Beyonce and Jay-Z’s oldest child, born January 7, 2012. Since then, she’s stayed in the spotlight with her parents, appearing in their songs and on red carpets with them.

Already, Blue has proved she has an eye for style, showing off eye-catching matching ensembles with her diva mom often. She’s also proved to have mom’s moves, captured stealing the show at her dance recitals. Blue is already following in her parent’s musical footsteps, collaborating with her mom, Wizkid, and Saint Jhn on the 2020 track “Brown Skin Girl”.

Jay touched on his parenting philosophy with The Sunday Times in Apr. 2021. He told the newspaper, “Feeling loved is the most important thing a child needs.

“Not ‘Here’s this business that I’m going to hand over to you, that I’m creating for you.’ What if my child doesn’t want to be in music or sports? I have no idea, right? But as long as your child feels supported, and feels loved, I think anything is possible.”
