Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actress. She rose to fame as a member of girl group Destiny’s Child, which came out with many hits. She then went on to create even more hits when she pursued a solo career.
The Houston, Texas native has released seven studio albums (Dangerously In Love, B’Day, I Am… Sasha Fierce, 4, BEYONCE, Lemonade, The Lion King: The Gift) to date that have all been widely successful.
Her Lemonade album inspired her “Formation” world tour. “Formation” is the 12th track on Beyonce’s sixth studio album. The album was released on April 23, 2016 and the tour started on April 27, 2016 at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida. The tour consisted of 49 dates and concluded on October 7, 2016 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
