‘Bel-Air’ Premiere: Photos Of Karrueche Tran, Will Smith & More — Back to Bel-Air! There is no denying the place ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’ holds in many hearts. And now that the Will Smith-fronted show is getting a dramatic reboot with ‘Bel-Air’, audiences will see a different side of the character, which is based on the ‘King Richard’ actor’s own move from Philidelphia to the West Coast as a teen.

While Will helped develop the series, he’s invited a new generation of actors to lead the series. Newcomer Jabari Banks is leading the series along with the talents of Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones.

He continued, “It is a beautiful reimagining and the depth that we can go to. There were things we couldn’t say and things we couldn’t do in a half-hour sitcom that in a dramatic version of this show, we can take the gloves off and really dive into things in a way.”
