‘Babylon’

‘Babylon’ — ‘Babylon’ is Damien Chazelle’s next feature film, following his Oscar winning movies ‘Whiplash,’ ‘La La Land,’ and ‘First Man.’ The American period epic film comes out December 25, 2022 and is set in the Jazz Age of the 1920s, when Hollywood transitioned from silent films to talkies. The movie features an all-star ensemble cast including Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire, Jean Smart, Olivia Wilde, Samara Weaving, Diego Calva, Max Minghella, Katherine Waterston, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, Phoebe Tonkin, Rory Scovel, Li Jun Li, and more. The majority of the characters in the film are inspired by real-life Hollywood stars from that time period.

‘Babylon’ filmed from July 2021 to October 2021. Director Damien Chazelle conceived the idea of the film when he was 15 years old. ‘Babylon’ is expected to be a major contender at the 2023 Academy Awards. To see photos of the cast in the film, click through our gallery of ‘Babylon.’
