Amy Poehler — What would television even be without comedy? Comedy Central star, actress, writer, director and producer, Amy Poehler, may take the cake for one of the funniest women in Hollywood. In 2001, Poehler joined the famous Saturday Night Live, and a few years later starred in Comedy Central’s Parks & Recreation, playing the beloved and iconic politician, Leslie Knope. And, it didn’t end at just television work for Amy: the hilarious actress has had roles in a number of films, including her “cool mom” role as Mrs. George in Mean Girls– (we’ll probably NEVER forget that one!)

Her work certainly hasn’t go unnoticed, either. Poehler has been nominated for and the winner of dozens awards including Emmy Awards, Women in Film, SAG Awards, MTV Movie Awards and tons more. Here, Amy was a shining star on the red carpet at the 91st Annual Academy Awards at Hollywood & Highland Center on February 24, 2019 in Hollywood, California.
