Alison Thornton — Alison Thornton is one of the talented young stars of the USA Network series ‘Dare Me.’ She plays Tacy Cassidy, one of the members of the Sutton Grove cheer squad at the center of the series and Beth Cassidy’s sister. She stars alongside Willa Fitzgerald, Herizen Guardiola, Marlo Kelly, and more. Alison hails from Vancouver and started performing at the age of 5. Since she started working in television at age 13, Alison has had roles in ‘The 100’ and ‘Supergirl.’ She had recurring guest star roles in ‘Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce’ and ‘Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.’ Alison was nominated for the Barbara Gittings Memorial Award for Best Female Performance at the 2016 San Antonio QFest for her role in the short ‘Love, Colin.’ Her next role is in the upcoming independent film ‘The Mental State.’ See more exclusive portraits of Alison Thornton in our gallery now.

Alison Thornton On Tacy & Beth’s Relationship — ‘I don’t think that either of them has any desire to mend their relationship,’ Alison told HL. ‘I think that the competition between Beth and Tacy probably is the reason why Beth is so good and is such an amazing cheerleader.’

Alison Thornton On Showing A Darker Side Of Tacy — ‘I think it was really rewarding and interesting because when we meet Tacy in the pilot, I don’t even think that Tacy knows that she has that bite in her,’ Alison said. ‘I think that everyone has the potential to feel like that, and in a certain situation, anyone can be pushed to that level of cruelty.’

Alison Thornton On The Risk Of Stunting — ‘There were some takes where I was on a wire but they would pretty much just drop me but they told me how to do it safely,’ Alison revealed. ‘I had girls under who would catch and whatnot but I definitely felt like I was falling.’
