The actress made her film debut in 1999’s ‘Varsity Blues’ and later starred in the ‘Final Destination’ movie franchise. She had a scene stealing part in 2000’s ‘Legally Blonde,’ playing a former sorority sister of Reese Witherspoon’s Harvard Law student Elle Woods who is accused of murdering her wealthy older husband.
Ali starred on NBC’s sci-fi drama ‘Heroes’ staring in 2006 through 2010, playing Niki Saunders. She starred in the 2007 and 2010 ‘Resident Evil’ franchise films, and ultimately took a break from acting from 2011-2014 to focus on starting a family with Hayes McArthur, who she wed on August 1, 2009 at his family’s estate in Kennebunkport, Maine. On July 20, 2010, Ali announced she and Hayes were expecting their first child, and welcomed son Theodore Hayes MacArthur, on December 20, 2010. The couple had a second child, a daughter named Vivienne Margaret on January 15, 2015. Ali then returned to TV with lead roles in 2014’s ‘Legends’ and 2016-2017’s FOX baseball comedy ‘Pitch.’
