Alfonso Ribeiro for Hollywood Life — Alfonso Ribeiro, is an American actor, comedian, dancer and television host. The Bronx native gained fame in the role of Carlton Banks on the beloved NBC sitcom, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. He became widely popular for his character’s signature dance, which became known as “The Carlton.” Following the show’s end in ’96, Alfonso went on to work on several reality TV shows. He performed on the TV show, Celebrity Duets, and ended up winning over Lucy Lawless in ’06. In 2014, Alfonso was announced as one of the celebs to compete on Dancing With The Stars, and he ended up winning Season 19 with his partner, Witney Carson. In September 2015, he returned to guest judge, and also sat in as a guest judge of the UK dance competition show, Strictly Come Dancing. Since May 2015, Alfonso has been the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, replacing DWTS host, Tom Bergeron.
