Alanis Morissette: Through The Years — Alanis Morissette, born June 1, 1974 in Ontario, Canada, is a Canadian-American alternative rock singer/songwriter, record producer, and actress. In 1995, she released her first international Album Jagged Little Pill, which included the hit song ‘You Oughta Know’, which found its footing on MTV.

Her fourth single off the album, ‘Ironic’ has become iconic, and is recognized worldwide. She has had several bit parts in films and television shows including ‘Dogma’, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’, and ‘Sex in the City’. She has written and produced eight studio albums and won countless awards including a Grammy for Best Music Video, and a Juno Award for Songwriter of the Year.
