There have been far too many sad celebrity deaths in the year of 2020. Hollywood has been rocked by a number of tragic deaths, beginning at the very start of the year.

The world was devastated on Sunday, January 26th, when the legendary NBA star, Kobe Bryant, was killed in a helicopter crash in California. The former Laker was traveling with his daughter Gianna, 13, and seven others when their helicopter crashed into the canyons of Calabasas. There were no survivors. Kobe left behind his wife Vanessa, his three other daughters, and legacy that won’t soon be forgotten.

Naya Rivera was pronounced dead by officials on July 13 after her body was discovered in Lake Piru in Southern California. She disappeared on the lake five days earlier while boating with her four-year-old son, Josey. The two went out for a swim and after Naya helped her son get back on the boat, she did not have enough energy to do so herself, officials speculated. She was just 33 years old at the time of her death.

Melissa shared her son Beckett, who is the biological child of David Crosby, with ex Julie Cypher. The couple are also parents to Beckett’s sister Bailey.

John Callahan passed away after suffering a massive stroke on Saturday, Mar. 28 at just 66 years old. ‘We’re devastated to share that John Callahan passed away earlier today. The actor, who is seen here attending a Breast Cancer Research benefit in 2002, was best known for his role as Edmund Grey on ABC’s ‘All My Children.’ He went on to marry his on-screen love interest Eva LaRue in 1996, and the pair welcomed daughter Kaya in Dec. 2001 before divorcing in 2005.
