British social media darling Jehane Thomas died at the age of 30 following a months-long battle with debilitating migraine headaches. The TikTok star’s friend, Alyx Reast, confirmed the death on Jehane’ GoFundMe page, created in her memory on March 18. “Despite suffering from migraines and bouts of illness for several months, her passing was totally unexpected and we are all absolutely heartbroken,” Alyx wrote. Jehane, who documented her last few days in the hospital on her TikTok, is survived by two young sons under the age of four. Learn more about Jehane, below.
How did Jehane become social media famous?
Jehane took the simple approach of documenting her life as a mother to gain a substantial following on social media. The daily ins and outs of parenting her sons Isaac, 3, and Elijah, 2, helped Jehane amass over 80k followers on TikTok and 37k on Instagram.
Weeks before her death, Jehane was diagnosed with ‘optic neuritis’
“I was diagnosed with Optic Neuritis a few months ago after nearly 2 years of being told my migraines were stress related,” she wrote on her Instagram in the beginning of March. “They then thought I had MS which was ruled out (for now) but now the pressure in my head literally takes me off my feet.”
While the diagnosis of swelling on the optic nerve was helpful, it didn’t prevent Jehane from her hospital visits. Shortly after the Instagram post, Jehane was back under doctors’ care, and, again, documenting it on her social media.
Jehane ran a stationary business with her friend
Jehane was also very proud of her business Print & Pack, which she opened in 2021 with her friend Kirsty, a mother of one, according to the P & P website. “That little hobby to keep [Jehane & Kirsty] busy around 3 boys under 4 quickly took off real quick and here we are today,” they wrote about their successful business venture.
On her Instagram, Jehane gushed about the both the business and her business partner. “P+P has been my saviour. Having @kirsty_92x & @megsysj to take a huge load of work off of me has been a life saver. We all have our own strengths but to be a successful business, you have to have other people around to help (& also have them to tell you no once in a while 😜)” she wrote alongside a photo of her two girlfriends mentioned.
She is survived by sons Isaac, 3, and Elijah, 2
“I’ve started this page in the hope of raising some money so her beautiful boys can have the best childhood, make memories and make sure they are comfortable,” Alyx wrote on the GoFundMe. “Nothing will bring the boys their mum back, but we hope it will bring some relief to her family, knowing how loved and supported they are,” Reast added, concluding, “Jehane — I promised I’d do what I can for those boys, so that’s what I’m vowing to do. I love you … “

While she was in and out of the hospital the last few months before she passed, Jehane kept her fans updated on TikTok. In her final post on March 15, she said she was waiting to head into surgery.
“I’m waiting to see if I can take one of my Frovatriptan before surgery because no other pain relief is taking this pressure or if I need to ride it out and hope the surgery gives me instant relief,” she shared. “I can’t lift my head without wanting to be sick and I’m unable to walk, I need to be wheeled everywhere. That’s how bad this pain is.”
