Mauricio Umansky isn’t only known for his marriage to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. What Is Mauricio Umansky’s Job?
Mauricio founded The Agency RE in 2011. The Beverly Hills-based company is a luxury real estate firm that works with clients in leasing residential, resort, vacation and development real estate. According to Mauricio’s LinkedIn profile, he “leads a team responsible for representing buyers and sellers internationally with many of the world’s most distinguished architectural estates, new luxury developments and design-centric homes.”
The CEO also noted that he is involved in the team’s “in-office collaboration, creative marketing and sales techniques.”
In addition to managing the business, Mauricio has starred in two seasons of Buying Beverly Hills so far. The father of three — whose daughter Alexia and stepdaughter Farrah appear in the series — leads the show, which gives viewers a glimpse into his daily work life as a real estate broker.
In addition to Alexia, Mauricio and Kyle also share daughters Sophia and Portia, while the Halloween Ends actress shares her daughter Farrah from a previous marriage.
Mauricio spoke with Fox in 2022 about his experience working with Alexia and Farrah, noting that it “has been extraordinary.”
“I mean, we’ve all been doing The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for a long time, but obviously, that’s in the shadows of all the lives and the girls and the drama and all of that stuff,” Mauricio explained. “For me, the experience to be able to film with my two daughters, Alexia and Farrah, in what we do every single day of our lives, which is work, was extraordinarily fun.”

Kyle’s husband has starred on the hit Bravo reality series over the years. Likewise, the former ER actress is expected to pop up in season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills, according to Deadline.
Perhaps Mauricio’s most anticipated appearance, though, is in the upcoming season of RHOBH. A dramatic trailer for season 13 showcased the pitfalls of Mauricio and Kyle’s separation. In one scene, the couple appeared to break the news of their split to their daughters.
“We are a very strong family and we always will be,” Kyle was seen tearfully telling her children. “We always will be. You know, nothing can change that.”

After the pair confirmed their separation in July 2023, they remained a united front. Mauricio publicly noted in multiple interviews that he and Kyle are not divorced but are “currently separated.” He later explained that they are “fighting” to save their marriage.
