The Masked Dancer debuts Dec. 27 on FOX. The all-new celebrity guessing game will kick off with its first group of five dancers — Group A. The celebrities will be unrecognizable in wild costumes, and they’ll be revealing hints about their identity in clever clue packages. Actor and comedian Craig Robinson is the host. The celebrity panelists include Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, Ashley Tisdale, and Ken Jeong.
The show, a spinoff of The Masked Singer and inspired by a popular segment featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, will feature celebrity contestants dancing while dressed in elaborate costumes and face masks, leaving the audience to guess their identity. Costumed celebrities will be joined on stage by masked partners and back-up dancers, as they perform a series of dances together. Each week, a series of clues will be revealed in packages, costumes, and routines, leading the panelists one step closer to figuring out the identities of the celebrities behind the masks. Tulip
The Tulip is absolutely gorgeous. The head of the Tulip covers the celeb’s head, and the bodice features pretty green leaves that serve as the Tulip’s stem. The pink petals make up the Tulip’s skirt. To top it all off, the Tulip rocks a fierce pair of green boots!
Zebra
The Zebra is all about the fringe! The masked dancer’s outfit is almost completely made up of black and white fringe, along with a Zebra head to cover the celeb’s face. Underneath that fringe, the Zebra wears black and white striped gloves to conceal his hands.
Sloth
The Sloth is keeping it cool with his sporty outfit. The beige and blue fuzzy creature is ready to get his groove on. He’s rocking a pair of yellow and purple sequined shorts and matching socks. Is anyone getting Lakers vibes from the Sloth?
Moth
The Masked Dancer has the Sloth and the Moth. The Moth rocks a gorgeous costume for The Masked Dancer stage. Her red, purple, and gold outfit is truly stunning. The Moth’s sequined pants feature an intricate design. Naturally, the Moth has a pair of gold wings to complete her look.
Ice Cube
Things are getting very chilly on The Masked Dancer. Ice Cube is the epitome of fresh with his slick blue jacket and jeans. He’s got a super cool costume, but will Ice Cube bring the heat on the dance floor?
Hammerhead
Hammerhead is going to take a bite out of the competition. The masked dancer gives off sporty vibes with his yellow jersey and red shorts. He’s wearing bright red and blue high tops as well. The Hammerhead also has a gold medal around his neck that says “Hammer Time.”
Exotic Bird
Exotic Bird is ready to dance, dance, dance on The Masked Dancer. The star’s costume features an intricate bird mask with white, red, and yellow feathers. Her outfit is a pretty feathered and sequined dress that’s a multitude of colors. Her red sequined knee-high boots complete her sparkling look.
Disco Ball
Disco Ball is about to get a little psychedelic. He’s got Saturday Night Fever vibes with his iconic pose. Disco Ball is wearing a red and pink suit for his performances. His glasses are peace signs, and he’s got a mustache! Very groovy!
Cricket
The Cricket is looking like quite the dashing gentleman! He looks very princely with his green and gold costume. The Cricket even has a tiny crown on his head!
Cotton Candy
Get ready for some sweetness! Cotton Candy will inevitably bring a smile to your face with her bright and sugary costume. Her pink, yellow, blue, purple, and green dress is pretty perfect. There are so many gorgeous pastel colors that make up her outfit. She’s going to sparkle and shine on the dance floor!
