With all of the drama that Garcelle Beauvais has to deal with on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, thank goodness things are working out so well for her as the newest panelist on the syndicated daytime talk show The Real. Her co-host Loni Love has glowing things to say about the 54-year-old actress, who she says is “classy” yet “spicy.” Loni has become so fond of Garcelle that she’s even helping out the mom of three with her love life.
“Oh my goodness, Garcelle Beauvais is just…She is so classy and fabulous. She’s the total opposite of me so that’s why it works. She listens but she has this spiciness in her that when she doesn’t agree with something, she will let you know and that’s what I like about her,” Loni tells HollywoodLife.com in an EXCLUSIVE interview.
Garcelle is a mother to three sons — Oliver Saunders, 29, with first husband Daniel Saunders, and 13-year-old twins Jax and Jaid Nilon by ex-husband Mike Nilon. Not only is she a parent to an adult and two young teens, she’s also a grandmother, as Oliver welcomed his first child, son Oliver Jr. in Feb. 2020. Loni thinks Garcelle’s experience as a parent compliments the rest of the panel on The Real, though she’d like to help set the single mom up with a new man.
“She has been a very good addition to our show and it’s really helped to elevate the show and give it…We needed a mom and she’s a mom, but just this loving woman. And she’s single so I’m hooking her up…I used to be single so I know what it’s like when you wanna to find somebody. So I’m her wing woman. And we’re just getting along so well and she’s just fabulous,” Loni explains.
Even though it seems like it could be difficult to meet a new man with the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns going on, Loni has a plan. “Well I got hooked up online. So I’m telling her different apps and also I know a lot of people. I know a few people, so I am actually a hookup queen. So I’m working on some things,” the 49-year-old comedienne tells us. And she’s already had some success with Garcelle. “She’s talked to a few people. We’re just trying to date by phone. As long as you’ve got that phone and you’ve got Zoom and you’ve got FaceTime, she’s good,” Loni assures us.
Since Loni is the hookup queen, we had to ask her what type of guy she’d like to see Garcelle start dating. “I would like for him to be someone tall, muscular and that looks really good on her arm. I want him to be nice. He doesn’t have to be in the industry, but that would be a plus. But someone that’s really nice, because she’s such a nice woman. He has to get on with kids well because she has her sons,” Loni explains, adding “And he has be able to buy me drinks. I gotta get something out of this.” A drink seems like a pretty easy thank you to Loni for any guy lucky enough to get to date Garcelle!
