Kristin Cavallari: What She ‘Loves’ About New Beau Jeff Dye 7 Months After Jay Cutler Split

After their adorable make out session, things are heating up between Kristin Cavallari and Jeff Dye. We have what she loves the most about the comedian.

After splitting from husband Jay Cutler in April, Kristin Cavallari is finding romance again. She was spotted making out with comedian Jeff Dye, 37, at a Chicago bar in October. They’ve since been seen having romantic dinners in Nashville, and at West Hollywood celebrity friendly hotspot Craig’s on Nov. 11. The 33-year-old is really enjoying his company, and light-hearted funnyman Jeff is a a refreshing change from occasionally cantankerous Jay, as fans were able to see during her E! reality series Very Cavallari.

“Kristin loves that Jeff’s supportive of her through this transition in her life. Jeff is just a different light. Jeff is a really nice guy who’s funny and genuine. They have a really authentic, good time together,” a source close to the mother of three tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Even with a brewing romance, Uncommon James founder Kristin is still a very independent lady. “Kristin is such an alpha female and she doesn’t need any help from anyone. She knows what she wants and she’ll do anything that she wants to get it. Business wise, that’s proven to be really, really true,” our insider continued. “She also doesn’t tolerate any BS and she’ll be the first person to call you out and put her foot down.”

For the moment, Kristin and Jeff’s dating life is going to have to take a pause while she and Jay spend Thanksgiving co-parenting with their three children Camden, 8, Jaxon, 6, and Saylor, 5. The former couple was able to get together to spend Halloween with their kids, and want to make sure that their first holidays following her April divorce filing will still center around the two being loving parents, even if they are no longer together as a couple.

As we previously told you EXCUSIVELY, “Kristin will always put the kids first and wants the kids to be able to be with both parents on holidays. It’s important to her that the kids see their parents getting along.” The insider added, “Kristin and Jay were able to put any differences aside on Halloween for the kids and are going to continue working together for future holidays. She wants them to be together when they can as a family, especially since this is the first holiday season they’ll be spending as a separated couple.”
