Rihanna showed off her glowing complexion after a dinner with friends in Santa Monica on Thursday night. The Fenty Beauty founder, 32, was photographed exiting celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi restaurant, where she donned a make-up free look with her braids tied back. RiRi sported a glossy lip as the paparazzi camera lights highlighted her dewy skin — courtesy of Fenty Beauty, of course.
The “Take Care” singer was dressed in a black and white plaid coat that was oversized. Rihanna’s thick, silver necklaces poked out through her white collar, and matched her Chanel logo bag. She stepped out in a pair of white, block-toe stilettos and ivory sweatpants. Additionally, RiRi wore silver rings on her red-manicured fingers.
This was the second time Rihanna was spotted at the luxury Italian spot, near the ocean this week. On November 10, the Grammy-winner was all smiles while leaving Giorgio Baldi solo after enjoying dinner. The “Desperado” singer, who rocked fresh face and the same hairstyle, was dressed in a beige fur coat, jeans and white sneakers.
Rihanna’s multiple outings come amidst excitement about her anticipated new music. On October 29, she was pictured leaving the NoMad hotel in downtown Los Angeles, where she was reportedly shooting a music video during an 11-hour shoot. Rihanna was seen outside of the hotel dressed in an eye-catching tie-dye print top and bell-bottom pants. She accessorized with a number of silver chains and a Fendi bag, and topped off her look with a bold red lip. While it’s unclear what went down inside the luxury spot, RiRi was dressed for something special.
The buzz around her music is due to the fact that Rihanna hasn’t released an album since 2016’s Anti. The singer has since shifted her focus to her successful retail and beauty empires, which includes her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty, Fenty Beauty, her Fenty fashion label and the newest addition to her entrepreneurial portfolio — Fenty Skin, as of July 2020.
Nonetheless, Rihanna has shed some light on when fans can expect new music. Amidst her many business ventures, she revealed in February that she was officially “back” in the studio. Then, in July, Rihanna explained why it’s taken her so long to release new music.
“I can’t wait to put something out that I’m really proud of and excited about,” she told Access Online of her impending ninth studio album, R9, adding, “It probably is gonna be sooner than my fans think.” Rihanna further teased her new music in a separate interview that same month. “I am always working on music. I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out. And you’re not going to be disappointed when it happens,” she told Entertainment Tonight, vowing, “It’s going to be worth it.”
