Jay Mohr, 46, and Nikki Cox, 38, are dunzo. As of Dec. 14, 2016, the former Saturday Night Live star has filed for divorce from his actress wife, TMZ reports. The duo was together for over a decade, and share one 5-year-old son together named Meredith Daniel Mohr. In the divorce documents, Jay cites irreconcilable differences and also outlines a plan for shared custody of their son. As far as all of their money goes, that has apparently been taken care of in their prenuptial agreement.

The filing is particularly shocking because Jay actually filed before, about 5 months earlier. In July, the actor asked for an emergency order for full custody for the couple’s son, citing Nikki’s drug abuse and problems with depression as the reason. Despite such serious claims, Jay quickly withdrew his petition just six days after filing! The funnyman told TMZ that they were “very in love. Very happy and that’s really all there is.” Apparently that’s all over now.

This is Jay’s second divorce. He was married for 6 years to ex-wife Nicole Chamberlain, with whom he also has a son named Jackson. Two years after his 2006 divorce from Nicole, he got hitched to Nikki and even changed his name to add her surname, making it Jon Ferguson Cox Mohr. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough to keep them together.
