There’s so much drama surrounding Mariah Carey‘s split with James Packer that it’s hard to tell what exactly led to their breakup. While one report claims it was the result of a “violent” episode in Greece, another (by TMZ) suggests James was jealous of Mariah’s relationship with her sexy backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka, 33.
Apparently, Bryan came to one of Mariah’s Vegas shows in June, even though he wasn’t working that night because he sustained an injury. James thought that was weird and supposedly dragged him away and asked him why he showed up to work.

Furthermore, James allegedly tried to get Bryan banned from Caesar’s Palace, where Mariah, 46, performs, using his casino ties. So why was James so jealous? Well, it could be because Mariah gave Bryan a sexy lap dance during a concert in South Africa in early May 2016 — 10 months after she became engaged to James. It was probably innocent, but if we were engaged to someone, we wouldn’t want to see them giving anyone lap dances either. Plus, a previous report claims Mariah “developed a relationship” with Bryan, so maybe the lap dance WASN’T totally innocent.
