#OTHDay: Chad Michael Murray & More Celebrate 13 Year Anniversary Of ‘One Tree Hill’

Happy 'One Tree Hill' day! The show premiered on The CW on September 23, 2003, and changed the childhood of many -- it also made you fall in love with Lucas, Nathan, Haley, Brooke and Peyton (maybe some more than ever). So, now that the date is officially 'OTHDay,' fans and stars of the show are celebrating!

It’s no surprise that fans are celebrating — One Tree Hill is one of the few shows that stays really focused on their fans, having reunions constantly! In fact, in just two months both of the Scott brothers, and many other cast members are heading to Chicago for a weekend to celebrate the show, created by EyeCon. (We’ll be there — you should be too.)

So, in addition to fan reactions, some of the cast have now chimed in to celebrate the show’s anniversary.

“What can I say other than Happy #OTHDay :) Thnku all for years of love & dedication,” Chad Michael Murray, AKA Lucas Scott, tweeted before adding, “Lucas would be humbled.”

“Happy #othday to the most amazing supportive community of fans Ive ever come across. Thank you for always reaching out, saying hi when I came through town, and accepting me so warmly into the OTH family for so many years now! Tag any #OTH fans you know and see y’all on the tour this winter! Tyler Hilton loves you,” Tyler Hilton wrote on Instagram, keeping his first person narrative just like Chris Keller had.

So, from the people who watched from the beginning, fell in love with Haley and Nathan and couldn’t bare to watch the episodes of them apart, and fell hard for Brooke and Lucas then Peyton and Lucas and also couldn’t bare to see the girls fight, thanks, One Tree Hill. And more than that, thanks Mark Schwahn!
